Rubber car mats fully tailored for the CX-3
Repeatedly getting into my CX-3 after walking on wet and muddy ground left the black carpet mats damp and dirty. Mazda in the UK don’t have rubber car mats on the genuine accessories list, so I looked for alternative suppliers.
I opted for a set of premium rubber car mats from carmats4u.com – Unique Car Mats (UK) Ltd. Premium mats are cut to the vehicle footwell shape from 6.5kg per m2, 0.4cm thickness, patterned rubber. Leatherette binding tape is then used to trim the edges of the mats. There is a choice of black, grey or beige rubber, with a range of colours available for the binding tape. The mats for the front footwells come with the necessary floor fixings pre-installed.
A couple of days ago, I placed an online order for a set of black rubber mats trimmed with black binding tape. They were delivered this afternoon by parcel carrier. The smell of rubber is very strong, but that shouldn’t last too long, and in the packaging was a complementary air freshener to hang in the car.
I’m very pleased with the fit and overall quality of the product.
